A FEELING OF DESPAIR

Image
POEM While I was in fear… This feeling of despair, I felt the hardening to care. I trembled, I mourned in fear, but I knew it was here.  Then I opened the door to a whole new society, where I was a minority.  My flesh felt like stone, heart let out a moan.  There was no one around to blame, only myself left with shame.  I tried to reach for the door, my dial could bare no more.  Like stone, like coal, like a cold knife tearing at the bone; to think life had come to this.   What a meaningless deadly kiss, the faces faded from sight, and thus appeared a treacherous foggy night.  Lying tongues and black laughs filled the room, voices broke out with gloom. Standing in despair, I felt the swerving of my heart.  I could only express sorrow, I just stood silently apart.  It was now the end.  Is this is what’s meant to be? This is my destiny?  With my mind in thought and heart in prayer, that bitter hour, without anyone to care, there was only pain and the vermin of rain.  My soul could not

FIGHTING THROUGH THE PAIN: A POEM

Image
"Fighting Through The Pain" Whenever my heart is sinking low, my smile must never let it show. Whenever the skies are dull and grey, my laugh must be cheerful anyway.   Whenever I think I’ll loose all hope,  I must learn to live and cope. With everyday problems that may arise, I try to hide my smile or dim my eyes.  For each new day invites me to try to find the courage needed to live by. Then why do I just want to cry? The tears can't express the heart that wants to die. Whenever my heart is sinking low, my smile must never let it show. My laugh must be cheerful anyway. I have lost all hope,  I can't learn to cope. Everyday problems no longer arise, They block my eyes.  I have no more courage needed to live,  I have no more of myself to give. ©  reserved copyright 2024 Luciant Enterprises 702 All rights reserved. FORGET THE PAST POEM

Image
FORGET THE PAST I can’t erase the things I’ve done, there’s no place left to run. Life is hard, but it goes on. The times of the past are forever gone.  I can no longer and dwell, I’ve put myself through hell.  I have to leave my lonely shell.  Go on with my life and start anew.  Live my days as if they were my last, without looking back, and forget the past.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          © copyright 1986  Luciani Enterprises 702 All rights  reserved Any unauthorized duplication or use o

IN THE CORNER OF MY MIND

Image
Poem "The Corner Of My Mind"  I’ve tried to block your memory,  To protect me from the pain.  Pretend I never knew you, and never heard your name.  But the walls I built aren’t strong enough, And though I fight my tears in vain, The feelings still come creeping through.  And the hurt is still the same. I wish that I could forget you or make you see me now. I thought you really cared, but it seems you don’t know how.  The pain will ease with time, and the tears will subside.   And though I know it’s over, that what we have is gone,  the memories will live forever, in a corner of my mind. ©  reserved copyright 1986 Luciant Enterprises 702 All rights reserved. THE BETTER YOU LOOK...THE BETTER YOU FEEL

Image
THE BETTER YOU FEEL  This woman stared at herself in the mirror holding back tears when I asked her, "How do you like your make-up?" She was facinated. "You just gave me the greatest gift, I can't believe this is me, but prettier." As a national makeup artist, it would be so easy for me to do a womans makeup and send her on her way. But what an honor it is as a national make-up artist and give a woman the power behind the brush to be her own makeup artist. Empowering a woman with a force of confidence, showing her that she has the talent and know-how to do her own make-up is beyond gratifying. I stood back and my heart dropped just a little, I just thought to myself, "I can't believe how some simple shadows and a couple of brushes transformed a persons spirit." I smiled and looked into her eyes, "No, you just gave me a gift. I feel so grateful that I had the opportunity to let another person know that she deserves to be beautiful. It was a p
